Symptom:

On SoftXpand version 3.0 and higher, Windows live messenger 2009 is installed on the Host but cannot connect.

Error code: 8000401a is produced.

Resolution:

• Open the registry and go this path:
  HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\
• Search this entry and delete it:
  380689D0-AFAA-47E6-B80E-A33436FE314B

Note: prior to changing any registry settings, it is recommended to backup your registry.
