Symptom:

After upgrading SoftXpand from Ver.2 to Ver.3, and assigning a sound device to SoftXpand workstation, sound is not heard on internet explorer, Skype and some other applications.
However, sound is heard in Windows media player.

Cause:

Corrupted registry settings.

Resolution:

1. Exit SoftXpand to Windows.
2. Download this REG file.
3. Save and extract it to your computer and run it.
4. Restart the computer.

Note: prior to changing any registry settings, it is recommended to backup your registry.
