Note: Make sure all the monitors that are connected to the host are plugged into their power supply and are turned on by their Power buttons.
The monitor settings that may be changed and saved are:
- Extending the Windows Desktop to chosen monitors
- Screen resolution
- Color quality
- Screen refresh rate
- Choosing the primary monitor
- Log on to Windows with an administrative user account and follow the path: Control Panel > Display > Display Properties. The Display Properties dialog box will open. Choose the Settings tab. The Settings window will show all the monitors that are connected to the host.
- In the Drag the monitor icons to match the physical arrangement of your monitors section, you will see all the monitors that are connected to the host. The icon which represents the primary monitor will be in blue. All the other icons will be in grayed blue. If you wish to assign another monitor to be primary, it is possible, and will be explained further on.

- Make any changes you may want to the display settings. Choose the appropriate resolution, color quality and screen refresh rate. Click on Apply.

- Place the mouse cursor on any of the monitor icons and click on it. The Display field will show the name of the video card to which the monitor you chose is connected.
- To enable the Multiple Monitors feature of the video cards, choose and click one of the gray monitor icons, mark the Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor check box and click on Apply.
- The monitor you have chosen should turn on and display the same background as the primary monitor. Drag the mouse cursor all the way to the next monitor. The mouse cursor should now appear on the other monitor.
- Repeat the above steps on all the monitors that are connected to the host.

- Use the Screen resolution slider bar to set the desired resolution for each monitor. Click on Apply.
- Click on the Identify button and make sure each monitor shows its unique number.
