SoftXpand 2011 Duo desktop virtualization software adds an extra workstation to your desktop or laptop. SoftXpand 2011 Duo allows 2 users to work simultaneously, independently and seamlessly while using a single computer. That means each user can surf the web, play a computer game, or watch a movie, and enjoy all of the versatility and freedom of a stand-alone PC; but at a fraction of the cost.
SoftXpand 2011 Duo can be installed on Windows 7® (Home Premium, Professional, Enterprise and Ultimate editions, 32 or 64 bits), or on Windows Server® 2008 R2.
SoftXpand 2011 supports maximum of two workstations per host PC.
You can use any hardware configuration that meets the SoftXpand 2011 Hardware and Softwarerequirements. Each workstation only needs a monitor, a keyboard, a mouse, and a video card output port. For any further information, please refer to SoftXpand 2011 Knowledge Base.
Almost certainly, yes! As long as it meets the Hardware and Software requirements. With SoftXpand 2011 Duo, you can turn your existing PC into two workstations just by using the second port of your dual head video card or by adding an extra video card to connect the extra monitor.
Most video cards today have dual-head video ports (DVI and/or VGA) to which you can easily connect two monitors and get 2 SoftXpand 2011 Duo workstations. If you have a single-head video card you can add another video card to your PC to connect the extra monitor.
